How about a giveaway!?

I just received 50 copies of the 30 Words :: 2014 book.

They make a great Christmas gift, a super fine New Year's bundle of joy, and a way to help a good cause to boot!
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS BOOK WILL BE DONATED TO HELP ALZHEIMER'S.

It might be too late to order them to be received for your impending gifting needs (but don't let that stop you from ordering... wouldn't this be a sweet Valentine's gift?!), so I would like to GIVEAWAY 2 COPIES of the book to spread some holiday cheer. This is a quick giveaway, and the winners will be chosen from all comments on this post on Saturday, December 20th at 10:00am CST, just in time to pop them in the mail.

To enter, leave a comment answering the following:

Tell me a random act of kindness you are doing (or did) this December.
I'll start....
I made beaded Ho-Ho-Holiday memory wire bracelets with the ladies at the memory care assisted living facility my mom lives in. That was fun!
Now it is your turn!

Love the whole idea of 30 words, and especially your entry Erin! Merry Christmas!

You are beautiful Erin! The kids and I helped pack food at "feed my starving children" last week. It was our first time there and look forward to going back to help in the new year!

I try to stay in the spirit of 'giving' all year round. I knit, and donate, hats for preemies and cancer patients. I also try and support the "Bulembu Foundation" ... and sent a little more this month, so that the children there can have a little fun this Christmas.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! xxx

I volunteered at the screening of the Glen Campbell documentary sponsored by the Memory Care Facility in my area. I get to meet so many interesting people and hear so many touching stories!

I've packaged up some 'happy mail' to send out, (but since I've been sick haven't made it to the post office to get it sent out.) soon will though.

You look adorable!!! We collect blankets, crates and accessories for shelter dogs. SO many people are throwing things out they message me on Facebook and we save them up until we have a nice load!

Erin, is there no end to your talent? Jewelry, writing . . . I love it all! As a former English teacher, I always tried to teach writers to be concise and to be very aware of word choice. I wish I had discovered your 30 words treasures when I was still in the classroom. I think that they would have made wonderful writing mini-lessons for my students. I love this piece and your cute photo. (I also refuse to wear socks, in spite of the cold!)

This fall I decorated a Christmas tree to donate to a silent auction in order to benefit our local museum. Here is my blog post about it:

I made all the items for 10 kids games so the kids in childcare for hubby's command Christmas party weren't watching movies for 5 hours. Now, I'm making homemade sweets for all the fellas that don't get to go home for Christmas.

Oh yeah and I've never heard of 30 words before today, but LOVE the idea. Thanks for introducing me to it.

Miss Erin, you look so cute in your cozy scarf! Love your 30 words. Every year, I send warm hats and scarves to the elementary school for kids who don't have warm things. This year I took them to a new church that just started because the school closed. The pastor of this church has a very poor congregation and does a lot of good in the community with his limited funds. I knitted hats and even a new baby "bag".

I so enjoy reading your 30 words posts. I don't know how you can say SO MUCH with SO FEW WORDS.
i volunteer on a regular basis at a local artists co-op as the owner (and a new friend) is just getting her business started and cannot afford paid help.
