BTW:: Spillage

Perhaps this should be called Bead FLOOR Wednesday.

Don't you just hate it when this happens?

This is what happens when you are moving so fast and so unsure of yourself in your own studio because you haven't been in there in a month that you knock the entire contents of your clasp container to the floor, it tumbles over, cracks the corner, and spills the contents all across your dark floor making it almost impossible to pick them all back up.

The good news is that I have resorted them into a better color and shape system.

The bad news is that I still don't know how many I have (inventory? That is a dirty word, isn't it?). But it looks like I won't need to buy any more lobster claw clasps for a good long time.

What is on your bead table today?

Oh, boy, oh boy do I hate when that happens. And it happens more often than I care to admit. If you get the inventory thing figured out let me in on the secret, OK? Because using a system to inventory my supplies and stock is a battle for me.

I have nightmares about such things. I once spilled a LARGE sectioned container of 3mm Swarovski crystal onto a TILE floor. I was still finding them when I moved 2 years later.

This might be a blessing in disguise!

Oh bugger!

Inventory is a four letter word in my vocabulary.

I hate when that happens too -- I actually have nightmares about it. The last time it happened, seed beads were involved and I still can't talk about it.

That photo made me cringe! Although thre fact that the floor is a hard surface made me feel a little better...unfortunately the room I work in has carpet and when I drop little jump rings or seed beads it's a serious hunt to find them again. Definitely the noisiest room in the house to vacuum!

I really hate when that happens. That right there is the exact reason why I switched from containers to baggies - I routinely kept knocking the containers over. I mean *routinely*, as in "every day".

I hoover with a nylon stocking over the tube in my studio. Or use the thing to wipe the water off the shower floor. Know what I mean?

I agree, it is a constant fear that I will drop a tray packed with beads, all sorted now, but completely messed up the next second. Aaaaaarrrggggggghhhhhhhh! It hurts inside just thinking of it.

You are definately fine for lobster clasps Erin! :-)

Oh how I have done this too. Or I just drop one critical bead I need and then cannot find it on my floor...until months later possibly. As they say, "doo doo occurs". Sunshine Summer Smiles to you...

I spilled my drink today at lunch. Your spill is much lovelier.

By the way, I'm just back from vacation and getting caught up with blogs. I'm only leaving one comment for everyone but reading all your posts. I figure less commenting will help me catch up faster. Thanks for understanding.

Oh, I feel your pain! That's usually when I walk out of the room for an hour or so.

I hate it when stuff like that happens ... usually a result of hurrying around because I don't have enough time ... and what happens is I put myself further behind. Now when I'm rushing and I feel as though I'm going to create a mess for myself, I tell myself, "Slow down, be patient." But your little accident had a silver lining of better organization.
