BTW: With Sprinkles and a Cherry on Top!

"Ice cream is exquisite. What a pity it isn't illegal." ~ Voltaire

For my Bead Table Wednesday I finished a necklace for the Earthenwoods Design Team. Miss Melanie created this sweet little treat of a pendant in a yummy dreamsicle color, which is one of my very favorite flavors of frozen confections! For this yummy design, I thought that the way that I like to enjoy ice cream is with loads of sprinkles, and I don't care what kind - mini chocolate chips, confetti sprinkles, toffee bits, cinnamon chips, Andes candies chips - you name it! I love it! There is just something about ice cream with some sort of mix-ins for me.

I call this "With Sprinkles and a Cherry on Top." I used copper patterned chain filled with an assortment of E-beads in various sprinkle-y colors and a red coral bead for the finishing touch, the cherry on top!

Get the scoop on what the rest of the team is up to!

I haven't had a giveaway of my own in quite some time, so I think that it is time to celebrate the beginning of summer. To win this sweet bauble, all you need to do is tell me what your favorite flavor of ice cream is in a comment below. One comment per person please! I will select a random winner from all comments on Sunday, June 5th and reveal on Monday. Good luck!

Ooo, when i saw this i thought of it around my daughter's neck all summer long! maybe i will get lucky :-) the family favorite is from a local dairy farm and is German Chocolate Delight---chocolate base, caramel, and hints of coconut. it is so good i close my eyes when i eat it! they also make a great chocolate raspberry truffle--dark chocolate ice cream with dark choc raspberry truffles in it. word cannot describe how good it is. i bounce between the two whenever we go to the farm.

Cute, cute, cute. So appropriate for a dairy state girl!
My favorite? ~ really, plain rich creamy vanilla that I can smother with all kinds of tasty treats like chocolate, pecans, pineapple, peanut butter, dried cranberries, peppermints, etc. Of course, I don't use all of these at the same time, but that half gallon sure gives me a new treat with every scoop.

I love those sprinkles (or jimmies as some people call them). You are so clever!
My favorite ice cream flavor right now is Dulce de Leche. It's so rich and caramely My 2nd choice would be chocolate chocolate chip - can't go wrong with that one!! I could go for either, since we're "havin' a heat wave" in Philly!
Thanks for the chance to win (& dream about ice cream!)

Erin,
This necklace is so sweet and summery! The pendant is so cute. When I look at the necklace I think of hot summer afternoons, the lovely little tune of the ice cream truck, and cold creamy ice cream (a cone of soft serve chocolate and vanilla twist w/ sprinkles for me, please!)
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I also like Mint Chip and anything chocolate and peanut butter and The Blue Bunny ice cream company now has a line of flavors created by The Food Networks Ace Of Cakes, Duff Goldman, called " I Do, I Do, Wedding Cake. It is Buttercream frosting flavored ice cream with white cake pieces and a ribbon of raspberry sauce and it is AWESOME. swopemelmel@aol.com

The name and the cherry bead makes me smile. I love all the color. I know wire wrapping all those E beads can be a little tricky.
I don't eat ice cream, I'm a vegan.

How darling! And I love the name you chose.

I've got a huge sweet tooth, and ice cream is my favorite thing to satisfy it. I love chocolate ice cream, but if I were at Baskin Robbins I would order Pralines and Cream.

Have a sweet day!

I really shouldn't have looked at this while I'm hungry, because I totally want to eat it up!
In all seriousness, it's super cute!

My favorite ice cream is Coffee but I've been eating a ton of cookies and cream lately since it's easier to come by!
