I had the good fortune to accompany this group of 14 dancers from the DEC The Company dance troupe last weekend to UW-Madison for the Pre-Collegiate Dance Invitational. They spent three full days on this most beautiful college campus taking full days of classes from world-renowned professors and guest choreographers from around the world. A small group performed an amazing piece titled 'Awash' that proves that our studio, and our Director Tori Rogoski (who is a distinguished alum of UW-Madison), are doing college-level choreography. They worked in technique with master teachers, and choreolabs where they learned dances and created original choreography for a performance on Sunday. It was a marvelous weekend and I am proud to call each and every one of them my dancing daughters!
Twirl on, girls!

My first wish was to be an author. My second wish was to be a dancer. I have to live vicariously through the dancers, and get better at the writing! So glad you had fun.
