I know. I cheated.
(I couldn't take pictures of the performance.)
I pulled this video to share of part of the first performance of three that we saw from the Complexions Contemporary Dance troupe last night in Madison, WI at my favorite theater, the Overture Center. This was Tiny Dancer's birthday present, the gift of dance with her best dance friend and mom. We got home after midnight. But it was an incredible performance all viewed from the 2nd row.

  1. Beautiful dancing! What a great night out for your tiny dancer and her friend. I still remember the majesty and beauty of going to see the Nutcracker every year as a young girl...even though I wanted no part of the all the frilly girly stuff...lol.

I tried to add my link but the linky thing you posted takes me to a place to add one to my page, not add to yours.

  2. Oh, what a wonderful treat for your daughter (and for you!) I think the 'moving' image works fine for this challenge as well a standard photograph. :)

Like Nadine, I'm not seeing the link code to add my own contribution. Just FYI.

  8. A beautiful performance with beautifully choreographed words. I used to be fascinated with the tutu kind of ballet when I was little too. Now I'm just amazed by the sheer power of these human bodies (and wonder about the pain they must be feeling to bring us this joy...)
