Forest Finery

"Come, little leaves,"
said the Wind one day.
"Come to the meadows with me
and play.
Put on your dresses
of red and gold;
for Summer is past,
and the days grow cold."

~ George Cooper

What is your favorite thing about autumn?

  1. Love the new pieces, Erin! Really special!
My favorite thing about Autumn is the cooler days and nights. The opressive summer heat gives way to the clear cool air of Autumn. I just love to "breathe it in"!!
Of course, the changing leaves, pumpkins, ghouls & gobblins are fun too ;-)

  2. Erin I love the new pieces - gorgeous! I love seeing the changing leaves and the smell. Autumn has its own smell and I love the cooler weather. I love being able to wear shorts and a sweat shirt!!!

  3. I love your new Forest Finery series. They're beautiful, as are the Sari Snapshots.

Autumn is my favorite time of the year. There's so many things to like about autumn, cooler weather, fresh air, gorgeous garden color, and families seem to gather together more. And of course there is pumpkin pie and spiced cider, big orange pumpkins and hayrack rides. I could go on.....

  4. Beautiful. The forest pendants capture the season so nicely and I've always had a fondness for sari patterns.

  6. Oh and my favorite thing about autumn is the cool crisp nights and mornings the sweet smell of Mother Nature putting her babies to bed for the winter. The crunch of the fallen leaves under your feet as you walk through the yard, and the beautiful autumn color palette.

  8. "but the roots will hold" - that one really speaks! But you have done a brilliant job on each of these! You have certainly kicked it up a notch with your pendants and they will be noticed!! Such a delightful poem by George Cooper, but "our" fall so far, isn't very pleasant, too cold too soon!!

  9. First of all- your new header, that breath taking (no lie- I gasped for air) necklace is amazing.

Second, your beads just keep getting better and better! I just love them, and all the thought you put into them.
