The Art of the Card

"A brand is not a product or a promise or a feeling. It's the sum of all the experiences you have with a company."
~ Amir Kassaei

{My new Moo Cards... Do you Moo?}

Business cards are a essential tools to branding your business. They tell your potential clients about you, how to contact you, what you do and how you do it. They may be the only contact that you have with someone and you have to share a lot of information in a small amount of real estate. But if they are used wisely they can generate repeat business for years to come.

Check out my post on the Art Bead Scene that shares some tips on how to use business cards to add to your successful branding of your small business.

And check out these unique business cards.

Like my new Moo cards? Interested in getting your own Moo cards? Go to http://www.moo.com/ and use the code 2RB2CK to get 15% off your first order!

What are the more clever uses that you have seen for business cards?
Were they printed on material that is not typical, like metal or wood?
Were they offering something more than just the standard name, address and telephone number?
What made them so memorable?
How can you do the same to stand out?

Enjoy the day!

  1. I totally heart those Moo cards! Maybe after I get a bunch more moo card worthy photos taken, I'll consider it. Right now, my cards are DIY, printed on too thin card stock, but it's better than nothing. At least they look cute. I have been thinking about upgrading lately, so this might be the kick in the pants I needed :)

  4. Hi Erin, I couldn't get your e-mail to work for some reason!? But, I wanted you to know that you might have to download an update for your Picasa to get it to connect to Picnik. I had to switch computers and my old one only had Picasa. When I went to download Picasa again on the new computer, it included Picnik! (Happy Birthday to me!)

  6. Your MiniCards look fabulous, Erin! I love that you've used lots of different photos for your cards. My MiniCards arrived last week, and I LOVE them...such a small investment which adds a really professional touch to my packaging! I think I need to buy some regular sized business cards next, and some stickers, and, and, and... ;-)

  8. I love the weight and smooth texture of Moo cards. I loved the tip you gave on ABS about using the back for a coupon code. I find them to be a bit small for normal cards, but I still love the shape and size, so I'm always looking for a "reason" to need them! It would be fun to order their normal size cards too!

  10. Your new cards are great, Erin. One of these days I'll "Moo" too!
    You do a fantastic job with your branding - with your personalized ribbon and packaging. I still remember the packaging when I received the Sweet Pea necklace from you - it was beautiful and one-of-a-kind. I remember feeling so in awe when I opened my mail that day!
